Mark neumann, Vacany Pastor
I'm the vacancy pastor at Christus, and excited to be actively sharing God's Word with people, once again, until Christus is able to get a new pastor to serve them
I grew up in Rockford, MN where my father was pastor at Cross Lutheran. I attended grade school at Mt. Olive Lutheran school, and started studying for the ministry at Martin Luther Academy in New Ulm, MN. I continued my studies at Northwestern College in Watertown WI, and then at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI, graduating in 1982.
I was assigned to start a mission church. Our Hope Lutheran Church in Chippewa Falls. WI. After serving there for 4 1/2 years. I served the next 32 years at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Brodhead, WI, retiring at the end of 2018. We now live in Fort Atkinson, WI.
I met my wife Mary while at the Seminary in 1980. We were married in 1981 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Westland, MI where I was vicaring. The Lord blessed us with 2 children: Robert with his wife Paytie, and their 4 sons and a daughter, living in Maryland; and Julie with her husband Jason, and their two sons, who live in Ohio.
We most certainly invite you to come and worship at Christus. You will find a friendly congregation of believers in Jesus Christ. God's blessings to you!
